It has been used traditionally in beauty products as well as edible products. It is readily available in the market and has anti-inflammatory properties which, infers a natural cooling and soothing effect. 

Rosewater is simply water infused with distilled rose petals. You can make rose water efficiently at home with little to no effort. Just by grabbing some readily available ingredients; rose petals, refined water, a cooking pan, a strainer, and a spray bottle.


Rosewater is a salient ingredient (also natively known as Gulab Jal) that rejuvenates the skin and has skin-lightening qualities. Therefore, it can be a possible method of removing dark circles. Rosewater has several anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory components such as terpenes and flavonoids. It works amazingly well in skin lightening.

Glycerin contains exfoliating properties and removes dead skin cells. Also, It provides hydration and refreshes the surface of the skin. Glycerin is excellent in boosting skin moisture. It is safe to use as long as one is not allergic to it. 


Take a bowl mix glycerine with rosewater, dip a cotton ball or cotton pad into it, then put the infused cotton over your eyes for about 15-20 minutes rinse following that. Use it daily at least once for noticeable results. 


Milk comprises lactic acid, which is effective in alleviating pigmentation and lightening skin. It is certainly a very effective remedy in treating dark circles. Milk comprises vitamin B12 that helps to lighten the dark circles beneath the eyes. Vitamin A and B6 in milk promote the new skin cells growth that further lightens the dark circles over time.


Take Rosewater and cold milk in a bowl, stir it well and dip two cotton pads. Gently wring out the excess and place the cotton covering the eyes. Leave them on for 15-20 minutes and then, remove the cotton pads. Rinse off with cold water. Repeat it once each day.


Aloe Vera comes with plenty of potential health benefits. It has natural relaxing properties and is well known to heal various skin concerns. It can improve skin hydration, support mature skin, and reduce inflammation, all of which can help treat dark circles.


Extract the gel from the aloe vera leaf or, you can use any aloe vera gel. Take a bowl, add rosewater and aloe vera. Smear the paste around the eyes and, leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Use it twice a day for exceptional results.
